SUMMARY:September Regular Meeting
DESCRIPTION:We’re back to our regular meeting schedule\, the third Thursday of the month at Heritage House in Riverside Park. Newcomers are always welcome! \nSeptember’s guest speaker is Tom Beeke\, author of the recently published guide book\, Birds of Kamloops. \nTom is a local author and educator. If you happen to buy a copy over the summer\, you can bring it to the meeting for a book signing! Tom is going to tell us about his adventures in photographing birds and other wildlife in our area. He’s planning to guide a 4-day field trip to the remote Bella Coola Valley August 21-24 to observe grizzly bears and other wildlife as well as experiencing authentic Nuxalk culture\, and he will no doubt have some stories to tell about that\, too.
