A short walk in the Valleyview silt cliffs

Date and time: Sunday April 27^th at 2pm

Meeting place: Sunset Lane that connects Sunset Drive and Valleyview Drive, close to the Holy Family Parish Church. The Lane is opposite 2789 Valleyview Drive.

We will walk up the moderately steep gravel road that follows the Sunset Lane gully south to the new city reservoir to explore the natural history of the silt cliffs. If conditions allow, we will walk further on an old path that continues up the gulley. You can expect to see grassland plants and birds on the walk and learn about the surprisingly violent past that formed and shaped the cliffs and gully over the last 10,000 years.
