At a monthly KNC meeting, Danielle Cross spoke on behalf of the Nature Conservancy of Canada.   She outlined the mandate of NCC, the work that they do, and some of the projects they have completed and have underway.   More information can be found on their website – link

The Nature Conservancy has established the Lac du Bois Conservation Area, the upper grasslands and open forests north of Lac du Bois Protected Area (BC Parks).  Other projects are underway, including the proposed Bunchgrass Hills area in a large area south of Kamloops
