Night Walk at Tranquille Creek
Please join Jesse Ritcey for a night hike up Tranquille creek.
Meet in the parking lot shortly before 8pm. We will wrap up by 11 pm.
A fair bit of walking will be involved as we will go up to the water intake and back. Bears and a young cougar have been observed on the trail recently, so staying with the group is important.
If you have one, bring a flashlight or headlamp. There’s almost always water running over the trail by the beaver dam, consider shoes you don’t mind getting lightly wet or a pair of flip flops to change into for that trail section. It may feel cool once the sun goes down.

This is heading west out beyond the airport lands via Tranquille road. There’s a fork in the road where you want to take the upper road over some train tracks. You’ll be turning right on to a short bumpy dirt road to reach the parking lot, if you cross a bridge over a small creek you have gone too far and missed the turn.
