BC Nature Fall General Meeting Is In Pitt Meadows

The Burke Mountain Naturalists (BMN) invite you to the BC Nature Fall 2019 General Meeting and Conference to be held October 3rd through 5th in the Pitt Meadows /Tri-Cities area of Metro Vancouver. This conference coincides with celebrations of the 30th anniversary of BMN and 50th anniversary of BC Nature, which provides our theme, “Celebrating the Joys of Nature”.
Our region offers a surprising wealth of easily-accessed natural areas, from mountain peaks to polders. Planned outdoor activities include gentle nature walks, hiking, cycle and canoe trips, and visits to successful wetland restoration/management projects. Early morning birding and a tour of BMN’s newly constructed bat condo are available. Indoors, you will be informed and entertained in a series of presentations by expert speakers on topics that celebrate the intricacies of nature. There will be a barbecue, a banquet and anniversary cakes!
