Lac du Bois Restoration Research Update Talk

Join Montana Clarke on Thursday, March 28th from 6:30 pm to 7:15 pm on a talk about the Lac du Bois Restoration Trials Update.
Montana is a graduating student in the Restoration of Natural Systems program at the University of Victoria. She received a Bachelor’s in Geography and Environmental Studies from the University of Victoria as well.
Grasslands in British Columbia’s southern interior face multiple threats such as improper recreational use and the encroachment of non-native and invasive species. To help find effective solutions for these issues, restoration trails were carried out within Lac du Bois Grasslands Protected Area in collaboration with community partners. It is hoped that these restoration activities will in time provide useful results for comparison and decision making.
