December 23: Azure-Browed Motmot I have had a request or two for a Motmot from Costa Rica – This is a photo of an Azure-browed Motmot. They slowly wave the raquets at the end of their tail feathers back and forth. I have been told this attracts butterflies for them to prey on, but I have never seen anything attracted in this way. The bird also goes by the name of Turquiose-browed Motmot
